dont they own the fox channel now...thats how they are associated then..
and personally this sounds sooo stupid..
mgm aka dhs...is really starting to go downhill..
Nooooooooooo ... they bought the old Fox Family Channel and re-branded it The Family Channel.
They really have no connection to Fox at all. Actually, if your read the story, they purchased the rights directly from the AI production company and bypassed Fox altogether.
....I don't mean big roller coasters or such. I don't like Universal for the same reason. I don't ride roller coasters cos they make me  but they need to put in something more interesting. I don't watch American Idol and am not a fan at all. I truly miss Millionaire. Two of my sons were chosen and it was a way for everyone to participate. I just think they could have done better than ride the craze of American Idol...and I am "old", too.Quote:

What a waste of space this is going to be.
Who gave the idea this go ahead ??? The same person who thought "Sounds Dangerous" was going to be a classic :bang::goof: :ack:
I can't wait to see American Idol! I love American Idol!
I like American Idol . . . BUT . . . if Simon Cowell isn't there, than it is not American Idol.
The attraction will be successful enough if only for the curious. I just wonder if this is a stop-gap measure while they are thrying to design something else.
Also, by the time this attraction opens, another auditions for the 2009 season will have come and gone.
Beats empty space, I guess.
