DH, DDs and I were fortunate to meet them when they first opened in November. I heard that they might be stopping this meet and greet. Please say it isn't so. We became fans just meeting them and now they are legends around our home. I even got my first real tattoo and included "Let It Go". Love those sisters. Please keep me posted. We go back April 27!!
Was just in DL and the line there reached up to 4 hours at times. Completely insane!!!
Look for Anna and Elsa to be placed in the Festival of Fantasy parade...
We met Anna & Elsa in Norway at Puffins Roost. We got in line at 9:30 and just made the cut off for the 11:00 meet n greet. We got to see them at 12:30. What we didn't realize was that we could have gotten in line at 8am (even though world showcase technically doesn't open until 11a) when we entered for extra magic hours. If we had done that we may have been in and out at 11, same wait time no matter how you look at it. We were told that 3 hours was a short wait & that some were waiting up to 6 hours!! One of you can wait in line while the rest go and enjoy the park though. At least we got in all our EMH top rides then went to wait in the line.
This makes me glad that I got to see Anna on the Fantasy during my cruise.
I read today that soon the Meet will be starting at 9am when the park opens. Don't know if this is true or not but it would help a little.
Which makes me wonder how long I'd be willing to wait in line..for anything!. I'm a huge Frozen fan, but no way would I wait more than half an hour or so. First couple of times we went we waited up to one or two hours for some rides, but I just won't do it anymore.
mom2morgan.... I'm with you!!
I just refused to give up 2-4 hours of my time in the parks for a picture with them. DH and I didn't want to swap places in line either... we don't want to walk around the parks alone while the other one stands in line.
It's true... Also the M&G was scheduled to end last week but due to the popularity, it has been extended to who knows when...
Seems like that little rumor posted a few months back about the princess hall being considered for the plot of land next to Norway may wind up coming true... Then a dedicated M&G can go there... And as much as I hate that idea of putting a princess fairy tale hall in Epcot/Norway/World Showcase, it does make sense... Have Anna and Elsa be the hosts as they invite you to meet them and some of their Disney princess friends... Or have them host the character meal which is already princess themed in Norway...I don't think it makes sense to have them meet at a dedicated M&G AND be at the character meal too... Explain that to the kiddies LOL...
My MJ travel agent posted on Facebook yesterday, with photos, that the lines were 4+ hours.
Personally, I think someone would need to have their head examined :doctor: to both knowingly and willingly spend that much time in line for a character M&G.
I understand the desire to see characters, especially new ones, and I think we've maybe pushed the 45 minute to an hour envelope for waiting, but I can't even imagine sitting in a line for 4 hours or more for that.
I think I'd need a runner to head over to Mexico ever 15 minutes or so for a fresh :marg:
Interesting...
A friend of mine down there now said she only waited 75 minutes for Anna and Elsa. I just couldn't believe that. Either all the planets were in perfect alignment, or they can't tell time.
They weren't there first thing in the morning, either.
