September 2024
Looking at a trip in September 2024 combining Disney and Universal over an 8 night/9 day period. We would be splitting a stay between Sheraton Vistanna Village (on a promotional rate with no need to do a sales presentation) and BLUEGREEN VACATIONS The Fountains on points. 2 days at Universal and 4 at Disney with park hopping at both. We've never been to Universal and we're only wanting Park Hopper at Disney so that we can best utilize our time. Looking at arrival at the resort on either 9/14 or 9/15 with the first day in the parks as the next day. What are the historical park hours for Disney and Universal over the 10 day period surrounding our arrival? Thanks.

For 2023 the September hours were:
EPCOT | DHS ==> 9am - 9pm
AK ==> 9am - 7pm
MK ==> 9am - 10pm, except for MNSSHP nights when it closed at 6pm
For 2022 September hours were:
EPCOT | DHS ==> 9am - 9pm
AK ==> 8am - 7pm
MK ==> 9am - 10pm, except for MNSSHP nights when it closed at 6pm
Not much changes year-to-year....

Thanks Bud. What about the historical hours in early November?

November 2022:
MK ==> 9am - 10 pm, except for MVMCP dates when MK closes at 6pm
EPCOT | DHS ==> 9am - 9pm
AK ==> 9am - 7pm
November 2023: Gets a bit weird!!
MK ==> Opening varies - 8am or 9am
Closing varies - 9pm | 10pm | 11pm | 12am, but still 6pm for MVMCP nights
EPCOT | DHS ==> 9am - 9pm
AK ==> Opening 8am or 9am
Closing 7pm or 8pm
BTW - You can google WDW Park Hours [month year] and get detailed listings. That's how I came up with these.

What Bud said :)
That time in September is going to be your better bet for light-ish crowds. There is no "slow time" at Disney anymore, but typically that time is lighter than November/December. This year, the week after Halloween was still very busy right through Thanksgiving. Park hopping will be helpful especially since in 2024 there are no longer restrictions on when you can hop!

On thing about mid-September in Florida - it can still be VERY hot and humid so keep that in mind as you plan.
