I read some older articles on the web stating that Vinylmation trading was going away at DW. I was just curious if anyone can confirm or deny that the pin trading is gone from the parks and/or Downtown Disney (Disney Springs).

Vinylmation or pin trading.. You changed subject mid paragraph. They still did some decent pin trading on the cruise line last year, it was more popular than I expected.
Vinylmation never really did anything for me. I thought I remember seeing some DCL stuff in the gift shoppe though.
We found both pin trading and Vinylmation trading on our last trip (last summer). Pin trading was still fairly common, with CM's having pins and boards at resorts and in most stores.
The only place we found for Vinylmation was the store at DisneySprings, and maybe MouseGear? (there was one other place, that I can't remember right now). Luckily DD doesn't really trader her Vinylmation, so we weren't too worried.

There are no Disney stores at which you can trade vinyls. It is very disappointing, we have over 150 vinyls and probably 10 that we have that we wanted to trade still. I saw guests trading them right behind space ship earth at the pin trading tables. But they seem to only want to trade chasers or other popular ones. Unlike Disney they can tell you no on a trade. Good luck.
