I voted better at home on mainly on food quality because of the variety available throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
However, and this is a BIG however, service is better at WDW hands down....

Late reply. We've stayed at the DTD area hotels across the way and very familiar with what is now Regal Sun. These are all properties built originally in the 70s to 80s but are definitely not cheesy....
