I was listening to the marathon recap podcast and thought I should finish my trip report. To see how this trip came about, you can refer to my initial marathon weekend post titled, pretrip and...

For the past three years we've traveled down for marathon weekend. On those trips, we have always stayed for a week to 10 days. However we had already taken our children out of school for a trip this...

Our shirts came, and they are fantastic. The XS works perfectly, and we are looking forward to wearing them on race day.
Thank you!

I just realized today is the last day to order to have these shirts for marathon weekend. Is there any chance the women's running shirts come in extra small? Thanks.

I am sorry your injuries are preventing you from racing. Good luck to your wife, and thank you for cheering.

Corral C for the half for me :mickey:

I didn't have trouble pulling waivers for the kids' races, the half, or the Goofy Challenge. Fortunately, our times must have registered, because we were also in the correct corrals. Last year, we...

We have had good luck with the Hyatt Place near the airport (not to be confused with the Hyatt attached to the airport). They have a rate where you can leave your car and then shuttle to the airport....

I will definitely be on the look out.Thank you!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your reports and appreciated how your love for your children came out as you recounted your trip. You really made the most of every day. Thanks for sharing.

Hooray for all who signed up for a race today and especially those running their first race at a particular distance. I am once again in for the half, and my husband is doing the Goofy. With three...

My bracket is a mess, but as a Wisconsin alum, I am so excited to see the Badgers in the title game. Congratulations to those whose brackets are at the top.

This would be really fun! I wish my budget didn't have so many constraints :)

I must say that the themed runs through Piitsburgh sound substantially more fun and interesting than my treadmill runs. It sounds like training is going great and you are going to be well prepared...

We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet at the Wave.

I hope all of the injuries are on the mend and training is going smoothly or back on track.
JMTstone, I hope you are continuing to progress after your hospitalization. I am so impressed that you...

Congratulations! I agree with the others that favorites are likely to be person specific, but I will share a few things I have loved and what hasn't worked for me. My children are 2,3 and 5, and I...

It was fun while it lasted. Despite my strong start, my bracket is heading to much more familiar territory. New Mexico was my outside pick to go deep into the tourney. Oh well! Although I tend to not...

Despite being an avid college basketball fan, I tend to follow my heart. So, I am guessing my bracket will soon be heading downward :)
-
Thank you all for the thoughts! I will look for the insert. I remember the 7 minutes from the half last year but was thinking, like Melanie, that with smaller corrals and so many more, they might...

Does anyone know how many minutes there will be between each corral in the half and full marathon? I couldn't find it in the runner info.
-
With all of the races just around the corner, I wanted to wish everyone good luck. Whether it is your first race, your first race at a certain distance, or another race to add to a growing list, I...

Happy New Year! Thank you for all of the weather forecasts. Hopefully the fact that the marathon is still in voodoo land will mean that the thunderstorms predicted for early that morning will change...

I tried to wear mine again today and again had no luck. Clearly, I am the one with the problematic head :) I guess I will have to continue my search for something to hold back my hair.
