Question Hoop De Doo Category 3 Seats

I was going over our plans with my wife for our upcoming October trip when she said she thought our DD4 would LOVE the Hoop De Doo Review. I called the next day to buy tickets and the agent said, "Naturally, you'd like Category One seating." Sure, I replied. "Sorry. Nothing's available. How about Category Two?" OK. "Sorry, I only have Category Three seating available."

So just how bad are these seats? Does anyone know about this?

    Default Hoop de Doo

There is not a bad seat in the house. Cat 3 is upstairs. Its kinda neat up there and the actors do interact with everyone. You're gonna love it.

    1) Cat-3 seat are all upstairs.
    2) As I remember, 8-tables per side balcony.
    3) Half of the seats face away, half face the stage.
    4) So, half your table has to turn around and/or crane the neck.
    5) My neck was so sore after a Cat-3, we won't do it again.

NOTE: Cat-2 has 7-tables at the back of the house and 6-tables on the back balcony. The seats are not bad, but why do you think the rear balcony is more expensive than the side balcony. Each of their seats have a better view of the stage.

We actually like the upstairs better. It is less crowded and you get a better view. Since the CMs come up stairs and interact with the audience, you miss nothing by being up there.

I have the same problem with the Spirit of Aloha. I could only get a Cat 3 and am worried about what kind seats they are.

I had just the opposite problem. We wanted Cat 3 because we love to be upstairs (the chairs can be turned so you don't have to strain your neck). All I could get was category 1 so I guess we'll be in the thick of things. AND I'll probably be recruited to be in the tu-tu.

We were at the back of the bottom floor last time and our son still got to go up and be in the show - lots of pics with the characters in the show as well - they get around and you will still have a great time!
