California Grill is my favorite restaurant in all of WDW, and I like Boma very much as well.

I can't say the same for Mama Melrose; I ate there as part of the Backstage Magic Tour in April and thought the food was not even average. Also with the Fantasmic package, the seats are not the best-pretty far off to the side. Seeing that you'll be there right between Thanksgiving and Christmas, which may be a less busy time, you might be able to get a better seat without doing the package and can eat at a better restaurant as well. Just a thought.

    Cool CP 3 times???

Crystal Palace 3 times???? Why not Chef Mickey's once? you'll regret not doing that. I suggest Chef Mickey's first so you and the kids get to Mickey right out of the gate -- takes away the incessant badgerring "where's Mickey? I want to see Mickey!". Always do that with my kids and CM food is great -- like both, but share the love.

I think you'll regret Cape May breakfast --- food was not that good -- and I'd replace it with Princess breakfast in Norway instead -- food was pretty good and got lots of Princesses you won't see anywhere else without long lines...

You must really like Bomas -- never been there -- but so many great places to eat.... If you are at BC, you deserve to go to Yachtsman's Steakhouse, or Flying Fish is fabulous!

Coral Reef -- great; O'Hana's-- great; would add Kona Cafe -- best breakfast anywhere on premises -- no characters, but we go 2-3 times each trip.

Have you tried to get lunch/dinner at Cinderella's Round TAble? I got ADR just 3months in advance for our July trip and got in ---- that is a must --- and you are so far out in time at a low attendance time --- call and change on of the Boma's to CRT -- I asked for any meal on any day and the CM found a dinner at 4:10 for a party of 6 --- I've been 20 times to WDW and never ate there --- so am psyched July is our magical trip! And got Le Cellier too! Never been there but told it is great.

Hope this helps. So many great places --- try them all --- them repeat a place if you want. Considered Hoop De Doo Revue? Brown Derby?

    Have a great trip!

    Lightbulb Fantasmic package...

Oh forgot, we did the Mama Melrose package this past March and it was great. You got a great time -- we did 4:15pm, got out, everyone pottied, went over to get in line early and they were already letting us in ..... seats were perfect! wasn't dead center, but one section to the right of dead center, and because we were early, we got the seats on the end next to the rope rows 1 & 2 -- lots of bugs at the waterfront, so bring bug spray and lots of patience --- waited about an hour for start, but the kids ran around and played since our section was roped off. Bring snacks for kids boredom... otherwise it was great! Princesses blew kisses to our girls on the front row! Good choice... and the restaraunt was very good --- love the Sangria -- ask for extra fruit. Tiramisu wasn't great... go for something else.

Hmmm... doesn't look like you are spending enough time at Bomas to me

    Sounds good to me
The only life I can think of that would be worse than being a special needs mom is not being one...

    These are excellent choices.......
Here are just a few thoughts......

Crystal palace character buffet – great food, fun characters

Mama Melrose fantasmic package – loved it, they made something special when nothing on the menu caught my eye, there aren't really any bad seats.

Bomas – never tried, but would like to, but I'm scared to

Coral reef – never tried it

California grill – I hear it's great, we'll find out in August.

Le cellier – This is my alltime favorite place to eat!!

Cape may cafι character breakfast – never tried, but would like to

Garden Grill - good food, fun atmosphere

Ohanas - good food, loved it

Your adr's are lovely! I have to agree with the multiple crystal palace visits. Maybe try liberty tree inn or chef mickey's??

I am assuming you are on the ddp... Coral reef is hit and miss. We've eaten there twice. We won't go back - bad experiences both times. However, some folks love it and have great experiences. Hope yours is much better than ours!

Boma's is great. So is Ohana's.

If you find that you'll be in the dtd area, try Raglan Road - it was very good!
    Have fun!
    Many, many visits since 1973....

I would change one of those ADR's from the CP to either Chief Mickey's or the Liberty Tree. Other than that, looks good

    yep, we love bomas...
we ate there last year and the food was superb. i asked my 8yr old where she wanted to eat this year and bomas and crystal palace were the only ones she wanted to go to...hence the 3 ressies each. at least i know she'll eat 6 times on hols...lol.
thankyou so much for the input...it was so difficult planning for 15 days. glad to know that nothing is a complete no-no, although i'm a bit worried about the cape may breakfast.i'd read so many great reviews of it and we were going to do the princess b/fast in norway...but as we did the crt b/fast last year our daughter wanted to spend some time with pooh and friends. fingers crossed i haven't made a mistake.

It's about the memories anyway, isn't it? If that's what she treasures, by all means take lots of pix and make some great scrapbook pages.... Although, Chef Mickey's is still a must do.... Micky, minnie, pluto, goofy, donald.... the main guys..... buffet, made to order omelets, everything you could want for breakfast --- and they dance and wave napkins about every 30 minutes.... she'd love it! I'd at least change one CP to CM -- she won't regret it!

    Default Cape May Character Breakfast

I know that Cape May is not the most popular breakfast buffet, but my family loves it. On our last trip (my son's first - he was 14 months), we ate there for the first time. We thought the food was delicious and have already planned to return on our next trip. Our server was absolutely wonderful, especially to our son. The characters just loved our son too and spent a lot of time with him. We did not feel rushed, as we have at other character meals. We also loved the atmosphere at the Beach Club. When we were done, we jumped on the boat to MGm and had a wonderful day.

California Grill is another one we love. You can't beat the atmosphere, and if you like sushi, their sushi sampler is delicious!

I agree with the others, I'd change one of the Crystal Palace to Chef Mickey's for breakfast. It's not that much farther to go to get there.
Boma's was very good and I love CP and Ohana's too.

Love Mama's very good when we were there. I have heard mixed reviews about the FDP. Personally I decided that we would go and not use the FDP in September but it is quiet then.

I've hear great things about Boma and they must be pretty accurate if your eating there three times in one trip!!!

We did the breakfast when we stayed at the Beach Club, nothing to write home about but the character interaction was great because we were the only family there (we had the latest time slot for breakfast).

Correct me if I'm wrong but Mickey still appears at Garden Grill so she'll get to meet him after all.

Plus you know how kids are as soon as she gets there she'll want to meet the head mouse!!!
