Thanks for the update- we have dining reservations for Teppanyaki in late August- does this mean that they arent going to be open by then?

Reports of the October completion date referred to the project as a whole, so it is not clear if both locations are delayed or if the Tokyo Dining location is only delayed (the Tokyo Dining project has much more work).

If Tempo Edo will be opening later than when reservations have been accepted, Dining Reservation should contact the effected Guests.

We've got dining plans (ADR) for Teppanyaki in early Sept, but haven't heard anything yet. Keeping our fingers crossed, that it will be open. If we hear anything, we'll post here on Intercot.

i hope the lounge maintains its aura...i always loved the CMs in geisha attire.
id rather sit in that area by the window.

Thanks for the updates! I'm glad to hear that they clarified that Teppan Edo will still open as expected. I will be eating here for the first time in early Sept and am excited to try it!

ill b eating at Teppan Edo Sept 21st so will see whats up. i looked in the building in May and saw the insides all torn up
looking forward to new O Canada then also

It sounds like the castle is going to look beautiful.

But...I swear someone at the World does not want me to get any good pics without a crane in the backround. It was there last year taking down the gold characters, etc, it will be there again this year and I think SE will still have one up. I guess we will have to take another trip to see if the crane will finally be MIA.

The castle decorations sound like the Candlebration at Disneyland Paris.

I have ADRs for Teppan Edo for August 21, the very day they reopen, apparently. I can't wait to try it and report in, and I hope it opens as planned. Thanks for the update!

I like the change to the policy with EMHs this is very similar to what they do at the hard ticket events like MNSSHP and MVMCP. I noticed on a few occaisions groups of people trying to ride attractions without wristbands and clogging up the ride entrance areas as they were turned away.

I agree. Since we stay onsite, this will be to our benefit. I hope it will help ease the crowds during the early hours of evening EMH. With our kids needing their sleep, we can never stay out for long during EMH so we will be happy to get more efficient use of it.

Yay, they are going to my finally change that EMH rule. Didn't make much sense at all to let them stay in the park.
