"Mickey's Tropical Luau"

I'm just curious to know what this WAS. It was something at the Poly. Was it a restaurant, store or something else? Thanks for any info.

That was offered back about ten years ago I think. It has the characters at the luau, I thought it was a great idea and something at the Poly like this was needed, now they have decided they just want the characters at the breakfasts. I wish they would do some character dining thing at Ohana, even a couple nights a week.

It use to be a luau for kids that was earlier in the day with characters. It has been gone for quite a few years.

There is still a "Spirit of Aloha Plynesian Luau" held at the Poly Resort according to Info Central here on Intercot -- or do you think there was something different than that in the past?

They still have the luau, just not with characters.

Mickey’s Tropical Luau was different. It stopped running in June 1999. It was a kids only (with parents) luau and it was run earlier in the day.
