Default Rix Lounge at Coronado Springs

Can anyone tell me about their visits to Rix Lounge at Coronado Springs? I'm wondering if its worth visiting on our next trip.

We are a mid-20's couple looking for some new night time entertainment rather than the same old DTD bars. I've searched the boards and looked around on info central, and I honestly haven't heard much about it.

Any advice and opinions would be greatly appreciated!

we haven't been to rix, but here are some other, low-key ideas:

drinks outside port royale at the carribbean resort - they often have live music

drinks at the lounge inside the boardwalk hotel - it's pretty unpopulated, but it's fun and old-timey, plus they play radio shows from the 40s through vintage radios

drinks at the lounge outside of 'ohana - they sometimes have live music

the california grill has a nice bar with great views at the top of the contemporary

jellyrolls on the boardwalk sounds semi-interesting, though iwe've never been there - it has dueling pianos

as a rule, i would think coronado, contemporary, and the swan and dolphin would have the most active night spots, since those are the places that host the most conventions/non-families.

thanks for the input! those are definetly some bars we haven't even thought of visiting!

i will say we've been to the bar at ohana many times and that is definetly a good time. everytime we go there we show up a few hours before our reservation at ohana and have always had a great bar tender!
