Since we are back to being bored, and the question was posed to spill about what we've been doing each time VFK goes down...
This weekend was yard work time; Had wanted to finish the last section of fence, but each time we have gone to Home Depot lately, the 8 foot dog-eared cedar fence boards are out of stock! They say they'll get 400 more this week and that I can call to check & then reserve them the day of for will-call/pickup... I only need 50 more to finish the fence!
Instead, since Summer is comin', got out the weedeater/edger and spent 2 days doing my magic while Lady Ice ran the mower (I'm not allowed to touch the mower... wonder why?)
Did a little touch-up painting around the house where I've dinged doorways carrying guitars and stuff in and out of the house.
AND I installed my first ceilling fan in the bathroom!!!! It was not fun, but it works! And yes, I had to use power tools (with supervision).
Now for a few and the hot-tub.

We have "Long Term Goals" concerning WDW;
Since Lady Ice is a highly sought after corporate trainer (she's had several offers to jump ship already), I'm twisting her arm to stick it out a few more years until she garner's a wicked resume, then apply for Disney Corp. Training doing seminars on "Doing it the Disney Way"...
If (or I should say WHEN) she gets the job, we'll move closer to WDW and I'll get whatever job I can get... as a character, in the entertainment division, or pushing a Turkey Leg cart.
There we shall spend our gloden years....

1. It wouldn't pay me to go from there and home every day with the gas theses days.

2. I don't drive the freeways. I will get lost fast even though when my mom and dad take me I still can't figure the way to get there. I'm bad in dreations [ms]

3. It would reck the magic for me if I work there. What I mean is. I may have 2 Princess Aurora/Belle, Jasmine,Pochantas knowing me but I wouldn't want to know who they are or who is Aladdin, Mickey,Cruella and so on.

So even though it was a though to me it would be fun.

Genie - there are so many Cast Members that work at Disney that it would be virtually impossible to know every single Cast Member.

Unless you worked in the Entertainment Department with the characters / entertainers, I don't think you'd have to worry about knowing your Princesses outside of Disneyland.

I could see you working in Guest Relations - maybe assisting guests finding information they need, where things are in the park, etc.

Genie she's right. I've yet to get to know everyone who works in Tomorrowland. There are just too many people working in the Kingdom to meet and get to know.
At least now I'm off wipe down but still am an opener which rocks.

I spent my week with a severe allergic reaction to something and looked like I had the measles. So been taking medicine to clear everything up and still trying to get my ears to do better. I've hardly been on any games this week including Pirates. I was on Sat night to watch Fan get his 40 in Pirates. We are all so proud of him, especially since it took him 8 months to do it! My 3rd pirate was almost going to pass him at one point.

Main thing I've been trying to do is clean out a bunch of my hard drives. Had so much stuff everywhere. I'm trying to clean up and complete on VMK lists and pictures so I have them all for myself. I'm working on pictures finally and trying to shift throught months of it. Also trying to take care of house things that have gone undone for months trying to get those last weeks of VMK in.

So at least I'm starting to accomplish something. Some people have gone to Toontown since we had those old turn in VMK papers for prizes at disneyland. Its 14 days unlimited. I just haven't bothered to try it. Got my hands full as it is.

I'll keep playing my pirates and when VFK gets more stable get into that to see everybody. I guess that's it for me at this point. And keep talking to my friends I meet in VMK through messenger things. One thing I learned from VMK is we have made so many friends.

Hey, get it right. It was 7 month's . I'm only playing Toontown right now because at the very least, it is something different instead of POTCO and VFK.

I figured once you found out they had a golf game in Toontown, you guys would be over there!

Hives are all gone, now my stomach isn't doing so hot with the more powerful steroids I'm taking. Just can't wait to get to the ear doctor next week, to finally find out what's going on with the ears. That's been at the bottom of all this. Two months of this has been ridiculous.
