just back from POP, Contemporary & BC

I stayed 2 nights at Pop (free dining)
2 Contemporary
2 BC
CHECK IN- not much of a wait at any
Pop had a trainee who was nice but a little flustered.
CR-waited a few min appeared to b only 1 at checkin desk & a few at concierge.
BC quick

ROOMS:
Pop was in the 80s/90s area bottom floor close to the pool & parking lot. not bad. the beds did appear to be new & comfortable
CR-Awesome. got the main building 11th fl room #4722 overlooking the monorail & view of the lagoon. 2 big beds, balcony,flatscreeen tv nice bath (I didnt have a problem w the drainage) fridge, coffeemaker. sofa, desk, computer w free internet.
BC- exact same room # as CR 4722 but 4th fl. & a long walk at the end of the hallwell, 2 big beds, fridge,coffeemaker, standing room only balcony w a wonderful view of the roof & bus stop area & construction. bangin on the wall next dr 1 day, then sanding the woodwork in the hall the next

Housekeeping-no major problems. most didnt talk when i walked past. i did request laundry service at CR & left my bag on doorknob but it was never picked up


TRANSPORT- Pop buses were full several times & there was some waiting. the worst was from MK at closing. massive line.
CR had monorail or walk to MK. the only bad thing if coming from Epcot, you had to change to a resort monorail that went to Poly, GF, MK then CR .
BC. walk to Epcot, DHS (or boat) used bus back from DD once which had to wait a few min for & stopped at other resorts in the area.

DINING:POP foodcourt busy, food was ok nothing great. used refillable mug
CR ate at CA GRILL & drinks at the Wave

BC didnt eat there other than a mug refill in gift shop

No more BC for me. it was the most exp, the worst view. I love the location but cant justify the cost.
Pop was ok for what it was, value. the lake is nice (other than the side of the resort that never opened) lots of turtles, rabbits...
CR was great. Id stay there again over BC esp since it was a little cheaper

If I think of anything else Ill add it. or ask

Thanks for the update!! Hope you had a wonderful trip!
We will be at the CR next month in the main tower as well. How was the construction going on the 4th fl concourse?? Am hoping the new food court is open in October, but I think that just wishful thinking...

the construction was still goin on inside & also on the new DVC building. dont think the new food area will b ready for you yet, sorry.
but the CR is great. the new gift shops etc
& considering its the original resort its in great shape
I had heard originally the room units were made to come out individually for rehabs but cause the resort settled it didnt work
