Elf Island Opening

I am so glad to hear that they will be extending the hours. This was a real problem for us west coasters. Cat, Hula had a rolling event in the Marsh the other day. It's nice to see we have more movements. Both, Hula and Lily are from VMK. I was even able to put them on my friends list. I asked Lily if we would ever have the ability to sit in our furniture, and she said that they are working on it.

Elf Island is about to open for Public Beta! Up until now its been in a closed beta.

This Friday marks the official opening for Elf Island’s free public beta! Come and join the fun for free by chatting with friends, playing games and exploring our exciting world full of possibilities.

It’s been a long and exciting road for our native elves. They’ve been working overtime preparing, fixing and building many of the fun features some of you’ve already experienced in our closed Elf Island beta.

The native elves are placing the finishing touches on our first GoodQuest - house building! Expect to see this GoodQuest and more fun features integrated into Elf Island as more and more Islanders join us. Timing for these features will be announced in the game and on our blog.

Hey Cat or should I say CAT'S... I thought I learned to roll the other day with Hula. But, I tried again tonight and it did not work. Before I doubled clicked my character and clicked on a spot. If this is not right please help me, as I rolled before even in my room alone, lol. Please tell me what I am doing WRONG...

My elf named cEveArdenfan didn't work out. I never got my confirmation e-mail. I'm trying again with an elf named BlueCanary. Her boat leaves today. I hope I can get in with this one.

Every elf name I choose, comes up with a message saying that I can't use it.

I'm not sure why it isn't letting you perhaps it has something to do with the game opening for public beta tomorrow. I would try again then, if that doesn't work I would send a message to [email protected] and let them know what is happening.

I read on the site the last boat left today for the pre-regist. people. So I'm guessing thats it.
I missed the boat so to speak.

I wonder when regular reg is?

I believe regular registration started today so I would go ahead and try and register again.

There are actually 8 or 9 games right now however you can't get to them through the map. When you're in a room move your mouse around until you see blue things hovering over a certain area that is an entrance to a game.

HELP! Ok, how do we find each other? What is a Quest Heart? How do we help people, animals, earth? What exactly are we to be doing in the game? I have walked around and seen others but not sure what else to do? I do not like the way the chat is sometimes obscured depending on where you are standing. Also when lots of "elves" are talking the chat balloons end up overlapping. Think this will change?

Any help or advice welcome! I am so confused as to what we are supposed to do once in the game.

Okay let me see if I can help you

The only real way to find each other is much the same way we did in VMK. Where we just have to get lucky at times. Perhaps we should try and set up a meeting time.

I believe the quest heart is where the quests will be located but I don't think they have started any quests just yet.

Also the chat is annoying right now I agree but they have stated that they are working on a way to fix this as well as a chat box so we can see the chat that has been said in a room.

that would be great. I was just on there and spotted someone named wdwdreamin. Wasn't sure.if it was someone i knew or not. I found chescat and dinofan.

Just a heads up for those of you that may have been on one of the boats but never registered yet:

For those of you who pre-registered before Thanksgiving, but have not returned to finish your registration - or if you have pre-registered more than one username, you have until December 10th to enter the approved username and password.


Users can go directly to Elf Island and register to immediately start playing.

After the 10th you should still be able to log on but I believe you will no longer be able to get the pre-registration benefits which I don't really know what you get other then the special hat but if you haven't registered yet be sure to do so before the 10th!
