Someone recently posted something about a rehash of Magic Kingdom Club. A pay "club" for addicts, etc with exclusive merch, park events, and other stuff.

Seems unlikely though, usualy those things don't really catch on. Look how far the Bionic Woman fan club got? Lindsay Wagner just abandoned us all!

Although you'd think they would have done it last year, since it was at least a round company anniversary ... 85 years. Seems odd to have a marketing campaign that says, "In celebration of our company's 86th anniversary!"

Hmm, the movie Race to Witch Mountain is released 3 days after this. Maybe it is related to some sort of contest for that. I don't remember the movie too well. How many children were supposed to be lost in the crash?

2009 - 23 equals =1986.

I got my Disney Movie Rewards email update today and they had an ad in it that says, "Are you 23?" and you click on it and it's the link to the site. I'm guessing it has something to do with movies.

Actually, Disney tries to use as much of their size in any marketing campaign they can. It's called Synergy, so that it was on something from the Disney Movie Club doens't necessarily give a clue as to what it's about.

True, but I've never seen anything that isn't movie-related in the Disney Movie Rewards Newsletter, so that's why I was assuming it's a movie. They could have done it to throw people like me off
