Epcot first, AK evenings. EMH started a little rocky with parking not knowing about magic hours and not letting us park until 7:55. Luckily it was really empty so we didn't miss out too much.

We did test track twice, and each time we had the carcto ourselves. They didn't show the movie so we got to litteraly walk right on.

Than it was off to MS, with no wait. That's dw's favorite ride in WDW. She always closes her eyes or looks to the side. I do like MS. It is the only spinning ride I can go on without getting sick. Now it's off to The land side.

Just rode Soarin. It was a lot of fun because it was the lady next to us' first time on it and it was funny to hear her react to everything. Then we ate in the food court and had an unpleasant surprise. We are on the dining plan and were told that as of January 11, you only get 1 drink for breakfast. So I sat down and went online to look at the 2009 brochure and sure enough, they were wrong. I should have received my entrée(not a combo meal),my drink, AND a juice. So I talked to a supervisor(?), and he gave me two juices. It was in true Disney style, but I will still go to guest relations because I still am usingbit fir two more breakfasts! I'm pretty bugged they changed it without notice. The last brochure I received had the juice, and the first few days I used it I got juice so it's just annoying. Oh well, it's still a good, very empty day. Of to the land and then imagination.

Just finished future world. By 11am we finished:
    Test Track
    Test Track
    Mission space
    Soarin
    Land ride
    Breakfast
    Living Seas
    Journey to your Imagination
    What if lab pictures
    Sticker pictures
    Photo cube pictures

This is why I go in January. We didn't have to rush anywhere and still had time to do some shopping. It is absolutely empty! Now it's time to go around the world and find a jalapeño pretzle for dw. I'm happy because I got my chocolate coins! One note:i wish you could choose any picture for the puzzles. The ones they had for the puzzle family pictures weren't the best so we passed.

Funny thing I just heard from the group in front of us. We are walking towarda England and this group of elderly people are in front of us. One of them tells the guy in front to slow down. He responds by pointing to the vultures straight overhead and says," at my age when those guts are above, you don't stop fir anything!". We all got a good laugh.

Here's my plug for the day: Bring back the Beaver Tails in Canada!!!!

I like this Canada film version a lot. I just wish they had turning chairs. I was also glad to find a new cookbook since last time I was here. It is "delicious Disney desserts."

We did a quick shopping trip through England and then picked up the Kim Possible Game at the international gateway. For some other information on the game, see yesterdays post by me. This time we have Germany.

But before we started we got some croissants,a chocolate thing, madelines, and macaroons. Then it was off to the France movie. I forgot about the chairs, they were very comfortable. I love the music in the movie. Now we are backbri Canada fir lunch at le cellier.

Just had a good lunch at me cellier. Took a while but it was good. The stake was a little overcooked, but was tender and flavorful enough to not make it a problem. The duck appetizer was very good and not gamey at all. The onion soup was normal, and the maple creme brûlée was very good. We are on the dining plan so I ordered the whiskey chocolate cake, I think it was $7, but it wasn't near good enough to pay for. It was a good chocolate cake, but not worth that price. Next was a quick walk through morocco, than a big shopping trip in japan. We bought some owl things, dw loves owls, and a bunch of chocolates and gummies. Also picked up a bonsai kit you grow from seeds(that should only take ten years to sprout). We are running outbid time so we skipped America for today, and will go through Italy and then start our kimpossible mission in Germany.

Battery is about to die so this may be it for a while.

Kimpossible Germany was good but I think I like Mexico the best so far. We got some more candy in Germany, the mozarts are the best, and ibdroolef over a $1200 cuckoo clock. I love them, but not at that price.

After it was off to guest relations about the dining plan. You can read about it in my other post. After 30+ minutes we were off to AK magic hours.

AK is completely empty. There is about a 3-5 minute wait on EE!! I love January!

EMH was great. We rode EE six times, PW once, and dinosaur once. We also did some shopping all in less then two hours! It was perfect.

Next we went to AKL to eat at Jiko. I know people will think I'm insane but I like this almost as much as V&A! The short ribs were perfect and had a great BBQ sauce. De got the plain chicken, but it also was incredibly tender and flavorful. We also got the BBQ chicken flatbread, the taste of Africa(breads and dips), and dome beef roll. All were also excellent, but we liked the flatbread and taste of Africa the best. The pistachio creme brûlée was the only downside. It wasnt anything special, but the passion fruit panna cotta was very good.

Then it was a nice short walk to our room and off to sleep.

Woke up really bright and early got 8:05 vindetellas breakfast. JK is the biggest downside to driving your own car. It took about 40 minutes to drive, park, tram, monorail, front gate, and walk. But it is a very good breakfast, and you in the park for opening.

So now were taking our time because MK is so empty. In the first hour we rode snow white, winnie the pooh, space mountain, and buzz lightyear. There was a piece of construction equipment broken down in front of Winnie the pooh so we had a few minutes for the fromtloader to tow it so we could pass. There were 15 cast member escorting it, and another 7 mopping and sweeping the track marks(which were barely noticeable). Only at Disney!

Another acomplishment, but not as big as The Giody challenge, I finally got 999,999 on Buzz Lightyear! Now it's time for COP!

I hope they never get rid of Cop. Every year I cross my fingers that it will stay. Just like with mr Lincoln at DL. We had a FP for SM but didn't use it because it was walk on. Buzz and SM have absolutely no wait so we'll do those a bit, as well as TTA and monsters comedy. Were also snacking onnour Madeline cookies from France bakery yesterday. That's another good thing about humidity! In Reno, cookies and cakes get really gross and dry after one day.

Crowds picked up a little, but still nothing more than twenty. We've been running from the train loop, hm, btmr, and poc. On btmr, right after you leave the station and are in the dark. Is the loudest area in the park. My ears hurt so bad with all the metal slamming together. Also, I noticed that on potc that while they evicted the girl out of the barrel for jack, they neglected to remove her voice! We just bought some more candy. We got some fudge, chocolate coins, cotton candy, and ate dome more madelines! Now we are trying to find a jalapeño pretzel dw has been dying for!

Walked around the entire park and couldn't find the pretzel. Rode a couple more rides, and wished the MK had better food selections. I wish they had the flavored popcorn like in the Tokyo parks. Had a really good jungle skipper and heard some new jokes. Now it is off to DHS. We just barely beat the parade to the front and had the entire monorail car to ourselves. Hopefully it's not too busy at the studios. !

Not bad here at DHS. Only rnrc has a line, TOT is walk on. We've been taking it pretty slow and did a bunch of shopping and ate a late lunch/early dinner. My pulled pork sandwich was horrible. I have better ones at our UNR football games. The bread was rock hard, and the meat dry. I was too tired to get a better one, and after yesterday didn't want to waste anymore time. Dw's pizza was the normal Disney style. Next time I'll make sure the sandwich is fresh.

We found it! The "Spicy Cheese Stuffed Pretzel!". At $3.79 it's a pretty good snack credit. Now before everyone runs out to get one, they're not anything special like zebra domes or dole whips. My wife just likes them, but I don't care for them. They were at the dockside diner. They have a dessert pretzel but we passed.
