Keep in mind that you do not number the characters according to the last number remaining on the list, rather by when they were introduced. You can't have two characters assigned to the same number. This keeps only 30 entries in the round.
For example
If Mickey were brought in at #25 and then in the next post was removed from the list, the next character added would be #26.
I hope this explanation makes sense as I tend to ramble sometimes

Okay, the numbering has me confused. I thought as you added characters, they had to take a new number. Can you take over numbers that have technically been used by others? In that case, we'll never get to thirty. OP?

You are correct! They must take a new number. The same number cannot be used twice. This way you will get to 30. Once #30 hits the ring you can only eliminate and the last one left in the ring is the winner.
