Default Question About Celebrations On Disney Cruise

Does the Disney Cruise offer any "special perks" when you are celebrating a birthday on board Like they do in the parks? Such as the birthday button to wear and "freebies" during your stay. (I'm not referring to the free admission on your birthday) I just mean like the free cupcakes, or special treats that they treat you to in the parks.
And are they doing anything special on the cruise for the "what will you celebrate" theme that is going on in the parks?

When you book your cruise, you must give the birthdays of everyone in your party. They will most certainly note a birthday! A cake will be given to the birthday boy or girl at dinner one night during the cruise. It's not the most extravagant of cakes, but it's still nice.

You can also purchase a birthday "package." It includes a door magnet, room decorations (lots of them) and a cake that will be waiting for you in your cabin. You'lll see it listed on the DCL site and there will also be an insert within your cruise documents.

    Hope that helps!

It's a little harder to make a celebration special on the cruise, because they honestly make every day special for their guests anyway. Basically, all your meals (including desserts) are already paid for, so it won't really matter to them if they give you a small cake during dinner. You can certainly ask if you wanted something really special like the chocolate soufle from Palo.
