Awwwwww thanks everybody!!!! I really loved the picture Cat did - AWESOME!!!!

The icky part this year has been staying at home and recovering from surgery - which, BTW, actually went pretty smoothly! The doctor had put fear into me about having cataclysmic headaches, but so far only a few and only 3 to 5 on a 10 scale! There has been bloody noses off and runny drainage as well as coughing up junk, and some dizzy spells if I move to fast, but overall I'm already breathing MUCH better!

The BEST part about my birthday this year has been having Lady Ice home!!!! For the last few years with her job she has been travelling, so my wish to have her home this year was granted!

We'll celebrate with her family next week since I'm supposed to be reclining with a box of tissue and quiet... I'll try and save y'all some cake (although Lady Ice got me a Hawaiian Fruit Tart the size of a cake - HmmmmmMMmmmmmgooooooood!!!!) She also got me a Marshall Acoustic Amp (so I don't have to run my acoustic guitars through the same settings as my electrics on my red Marshall) and I'm getting an 85/81 EMG Active Pickup set put on the old Flying V Monday... Not a bad haul!

OK - you're officially freaking me out, Ice...

My Dad's birthday is just a few days before yours and my Mom, brother, and I bought him an acoustic amp (although not Marshall).
