Universal-Royal Pacific or Hard Rock Hotel?

We love the Island theme but we also like a real nice room.Which hotel seems cleaner and nicer and which is closer to parks or restaurants and club area?We prefer more quiet than noise but we're also not dead yet either.Which one has the best poolbar and restaurants?Are the rooms comparable to Disney rooms or better?Thanks!

I know it wasn't one of your choices, but for what it sounds like you are looking for, I would highly recommend the Portofino. We LOVED it!!

Oh! and the room was much better than any of the WDW deluxes we've stayed. However, Hard Rock is a closer boat ride than Portofino, but it really depends on the timing of the boat.

We've stayed at both Portofino and Hard Rock. We've only been by RP to check it out. From a location stand-point, HR is closer and very convenient. But all 3 hotels offer boat transportation to the parks and to City Walk. The pool (and pool bar area) at HR is very nice.

As for the rooms, we liked the rooms at both HR and PF, but we felt that most of the deluxes are WDW are nicer. As for restaurants, you will have dozens of options with as close as you'll be to City Walk. Hope you have a great trip, whichever place you choose!
