What year did you first visit WDW?

Was 10 and we ahd a great time at both MK and Epcot. I actually liked Epcot more then. Now ive flipped around and like MK more. Guess Im more of a kid now than when I was 10, go figure.

My first and only WDW trip---August 1986, 13 years old. We stayed at Ft. Wilderness in a cabin---two days at MK & 1/2 day at EPCOT. We spent one day at Sea World too, before going to Cocoa Beach for a few days.

My DH (37) & DD (5) will have their first WDW trip this June and I am more excited than either of them are about it!

1978....I was 2 years old...took my son in 2008 when he was 2 years old as well...love passing the Disney legacy on!

I feel old! My first visit was in 1977. I was 12. I remember the feeling of walking into the Magic Kingdom for the first time like it was yesterday. I was instantly smitten. I purchased a white Tee with Micky that simply said Walt Disney World. My own daughter wears it as a sleep shirt now! I never threw it away..

1988, I was 5, we only went to the Magic Kingdom (my Dad went to Epcot on his own) I got a "lady" stuffed animal, and nearly lost my jelly sandel on Peter Pan's Flight!!!

January 2003 at the age of 33. I was with my mom, sister and 8 year old son. We stayed at All Star Movies that year

2004 to celebrate my son's high school graduation, I was 42 and am hoping to go back next year for my 50th birthday. However grew up going to disneyland.

Was it even called WDW back then? There was only the Magic Kingdom I believe.

Yes. It was going to be called Disney World prior to Walt Disney's death. After Walt's death and before the resort opened, Roy Disney had the name changed to Walt Disney World.

My first visit was in 1994.

I don't recall the month, but it was in 1978 and I was 5 years old.

First time as a parent was in September of 2000.

1974 - not telling how old, it's classified. Fell in love with the place, and that hasn't changed.

First trip as a parent - 1996, Nov. DD #2 took her first steps there! (In the hotel, alas.)
