    Default NBC Cancels Heroes

Oh well... after 4 seaons, and 3 straight bad ones, Heroes is gone... NBC pulled the plug on the show... I still watched it even though it had lost its way.... Guess I was hoping they would get back on track...

BRODIE: Hey, now, be fair. EVERYONE wants Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

I can see why. I loved season 1, tolerated season 2, but they lost me in season 3. It had such promise.

True... the show has lost its focus... it has promise... but yes, seasons 2-4 were borderline disastrous.. 4 started getting better but it was way too late...

I got out half-way through season 3. I watched half of season 3 thinking that it would get better, but it didn't. They were riding on the coattails of season 1 for three years.

So as of right now there will be no more shows just a mini-series or tv movie to tie things up maybe I heard?

The mini-series or tv movie idea is just a pipe-dream they have, at this point. Figure the most likely scenario is that we've seen the final episode.

I started out liking the show, but after awhile it got old.

I mean how many times can Sylar be good then bad then good then bad then good again.

okay, so I loved this show, dvr'd it and looked forward to watching it everytime it came on.
So I must say I am saddened that we don't know what happened with the characters.
I hope they at least do a final episode or mini series to close the chapter and/or end the show!!!

It is a hard choice, really -- it is as likely as not that whatever finale they put together will resolve things incompletely and/or inadequately (from any one viewer's perspective), so is it better for each of us to imagine our own endings, which invariably will be satisfying to us, or to risk having the producers impose one on us?

Totally agree. They had a great idea and then they ran it into the ground with all the plot change-ups.

For one brief shining moment...it was great!
    Just Jill.......
