    Default Boat from Wilderness Lodge.

I don't know if I've posted this in the right forum. If I haven't I ask the Mods to move it to the proper place:

What boat do I take from the Wilderness Lodge to the MK? Is it the same boat coming back?

    Thanks for all your help!!

It's the big boat... I'm not sure what flag it flies though (I think green is for the ones that do the Contemporary/Fort Wilderness loops). Something tells me it's yellow, but don't quote me on that.

When you get to the boat dock from Wilderness Lodge, you'll see signs indicating which boat dock you should wait at for the boat to the Magic Kingdom. At the Magic Kingdom, you'll see similary signs. Just go to the same boat dock you were dropped off at for the return trip!

We arrive shortly after you return home!

There are two places at WL to line up for boats. The line on the right-hand side of the dock will take you to FtW & CR. The one on the left side will chart a course to MK. DS & I were discussing, & we can't remember which color is what.

We've noticed the past couple of years that they will alternate between the "big" boats and the smaller ones. Oftentimes while we'd be shuttled over to MK in the larger boat first thing in the morning, in the early-mid afternoon hours we were brought back by a smaller one. At MK you'll note the two lines as well - one for FtW & one for WL. Easy as pie!

I said, "DON'T QUOTE ME!" hehe

Sounds like there's only two, so don't get on the green line and you're all set!

If you are in a hurry, there is a bus that just goes from WL to MK and back. It is quicker than any monorail. We got tired of waiting for boats and were happy to find this. We would still take the boats occasionally, but most time we were just wanting to get there or get back.

We had to take the bus when we missed the last boat...it was for the MNSSHP and we wandered the stores after the party...

We just got back and if memory serves me correctly, I believe it was the red flag boat that ran to MK. There were several times that they sent the small boats (which I actually like better) to speed things up. As others have said though, both the dock at WL and MK are very well marked.

I thought that the Green flag route was from WL to MK and the Blue flag route went in-between CR, WL and FW.

But in any case, the signs at the WL dock are pretty clearly marked, as is the signage at the docks at the MK to return to WL.

    Red flag - to MK

Blue flag - to FW, CR
I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.
