EpcotChic Magical May Vacation 5/14-5/20 Pre trip report

I did my very first trip report in September and I enjoyed it so much I would like to do one for my upcoming May trip. Here is the basic information:
Leave for Lido Key Florida May 7th-May 14th
Walt Disney World May 14th-May 20th (Polynesian Resort)

Who is going?
ME: 31 year Disney Obsessed. Have visited the world over 25 times
DH: 35 Never went to WDW until he met me, becoming a fan
DD:22 month old (this will be her 3rd trip) Obsessed with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Daisy, Donald, Stitch and Pooh
DM: My mom who had a double knee replacement in September and is fully recovered. First visit in 10 years where we won’t have to rent mom an electrical cart.
DD; My dad who has supported my Disney obsession for 31 years and goes along with it as much as he can.
DB- My brother who is 25 who has developed a fondness….ok honestly an obsession with vinalmation (I’m sorry I don’t get it).
This is a 2 week vacation. The first week will be going to Lido Key where my family has a timeshare. I have not been there in 7 years so very excited to go back. The condo is right on the beach of the Gulf of Mexico. I can’t for my daughter to play in the ocean and sand for the first time
Then we will be driving the hour and half drive to Disney World and staying at the Polynesian Resort. We are coming from NJ so as many know we had a tough winter so we have all been counting down the days to vacation. We hit the month mark yesterday.

I hear ya about the long winter in NJ this year..we're escaping it ourselves in two weeks, and I cannot wait!! Have a magical stay at the Polynesian!

What a great time it will be to have everyone in your family together - even your Vinylmation-obsessed brother.

I bet your mom is super excited to be free of her electric cart for the first time in so long. Does your DD understand that she's going to be seeing the whole gang soon? Can't wait to read your reports - I'm sure you'll have yet another magical trip!
