Room Noise In Moderates?

Last year we decided to stay at POR and what a mistake that was - the first couple of nights were fine, but then a girls volleyball team arrived and let me tell you, I wanted to leave. They were always out in the middle of the night screaming to each other. We usually stay at Pop, on the top floor and the always had noise, but nothing like this.

If you are used to living on a quiet dead end street, any of the resorts will seem noisy. Doors slam, kids yell, and turbo-toilets flush!! For that reason, I always travel with ear plugs. They deaden the sounds, but you can still hear alarm clocks.
