I've only been to DCA once, and I don't remember much of it. It was a very emotional trip for personal reasons. What can you guys tell me about it? What are the must-dos for our Oct. trip? How many days should I plan for it? What are the best places to eat?
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.

I would say the must dos for DCA are: Soarin' over California, The Aladdin Musical stage show (If it is still running at the time), The New Little Mermaid ride, Toy Story Midway Mania, the Tower of Terror (if you can handle it) and The World of Color night show on the water. I certainly wouldn't miss visiting the Disney Animation building. There is a lot to see and do there as well. There are many other things I enjoy at DCA too, but I would definitely see those.

I would plan at least one day for DCA and one day for Disneyland. That way you are not in a rush. Of course if you have more time than that, even better, but not really needed. Depending on when you are there in October, the Halloween activities will also be going on. You may want to pay extra to be there on one of the Halloween nights at Disneyland to see the special entertainment they do. The Halloween fireworks show is great.

I don't really spend too much time eating at DCA. They will have a couple of new restaurants open when you arrive. Someone else can probably give you more advice on places to eat.
