Disney Hotels for Half Marathon

I am signed up for the Disneyland Half this September. I did the half two years ago and stayed off site. This year we want to stay at the DL hotel. So I was wondering if anyone knows if we can get a better deal than what they offer from the GET Travel? And do they hotels really fill up far in advance?

The GET Travel package seemed high to me. Do you have AAA? Maybe they might have a better deal? Passholders may also have a cheaper rate. I haven't checked yet.

For anyone else who is interested, I learned from Wonderful Wendy that the GET Travel discounts are actually quite good.

Bummer. That tells me that the Disney hotels are overpriced. I guess I will be staying off site again.
