Deep Purple's Jon Lord dies

Jon Lord, the keyboardist of the Mark2 lineup of Deep Purple has died of cancer. He was 71.
Smoke on the Water was one of his songs.

I had no idea that this happened. DH is a big DP fan and I've seen them twice with him. John Lord was an amazing keyboardist. Thanks for the info.
