I found the Castle!!

At Christmas time we do a train display in our dining room with all Dept 56 castles. Two years ago, DS20 had starting telling me he wanted Cinderella's Castle added to the display. We've been looking for it and asking in the WDW Christmas stores about it. No one seemed to remember the one he saw.

The other day I started googling online and found out that my son wasn't nuts and the Castle was made in 2006 but discontinued. I found one from a small shop in IL. She called to say she was cancelling my order because the one they had was a floor model. I told her if it wasn't damaged I still wanted to buy it. She offered it to me for half price and it came today. Perfect condition!

He's away at college but I am so excited for him to see it when he comes home that I had to share it with people that understand.

I would love to see what other people have done relating to Dept 56 Disney displays. I could always use some ideas!

I would love to see pictures of other's displays. We also have a setup, but not nearly as miniaturized. My 7yo son got the monorail last year and this year he got the Polynesian resort and Contemporary resort. He wants to get the Grand Floridian if it's offered. Of course this is all a larger scale so it takes up a LOT of room. We may not have the space to complete his final vision.
