Gaston & Ariel in New Fantasyland

We went to Friday's New Fantasyland dress rehearsal.

Both Gaston and Ariel were doing their meet and greets.

Gaston was fantastic. Really entertaining and great interaction with the crowd. It looks like he will move around the tavern area. When we meet him , they did have a line (and photo pass photographer) by the gift shop. Later he was at the front of the area.

Ariel in mermaid form meets in Ariel's Grotto which is just beyond the Journey of the Little Mermaid ride. It's a cute area and both of my children enjoyed her.

I know the area is in cast member previews know and I am not sure when it will be open to the public, but when it does I definitely recommend looking for Gaston.

I got some great pics with Gaston during the first AP preivew on 11/3.

The Ariel setup is very cute, but it was very awkward trying to sit nicely on her bench with the way she was sitting. Couldn't cross my legs without kicking her. Also, the seat was a little high (for me... I'm 5'4"), with no real place to prop my feet, so my legs are just sticking out kinda straight. Doesn't look natural at all.

Also, that poor Ariel look downright anorexic! She was so skinny and boney... my DH was creeped out!
