Join the Dapper Dans on Main Street, U.S.A.

August 19 to August 25, 2013

Take a trip back in time when the old school sounds of the "Original Boy Band" make their return to Main Street, U.S.A. This August, as part of Limited Time Magic, the Dapper Dans of Magic Kingdom park are bringing their iconic medley of popular boy band hits back to the street! Join the striped quartet—in addition to an audience of adoring fellow fans—and tap your toes to the troupe's renditions for an encore performance you won't soon forget!

Now this I would enjoy, hopefully I'll be able to catch them the day we arrive.

Celebrate the "Dog Days of Summer"

The "Dog Days of Summer" are coming to an end, but with a little Limited Time Magic, there's still another chance to party during this celebration of man's best friend! Wag your way over to Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom park, where you can dance along to the tunes of DJ K-9, right alongside popular Disney pups like Pluto, Bolt and Dug too. You may even spot Lilo's "dog" Stitch crashing the block party while you enjoy all the fun games, tasty food and refreshing cool zones—including the watery antics of Drip the fire hydrant. Don't miss this chance celebrate the summertime before it's gone completely to the dogs!

CELEBRATE PIRATE'S WEEK

Inspired by “Talk Like a Pirate Day,” the latest Limited Time Magic event comes to the Magic Kingdom starting Monday, Sept. 23 through 29, 2013 with Pirate’s Week.

Guests can head to Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom to hear The Rusty Cutlass pirate band perform and have a chance to meet Pirate Goofy and Jake from Jake and the Never Land Pirates. There will also be a special pirate pre-show before the “Celebrate a Dream Come True” parade.

Those who sign up early for “The Pirates League” kids boutique, may be invited to join the pre-parade down Main Street, U.S.A., alongside 19 other lucky pirates. Plus, adults can now receive pirate makeovers and complimentary teeth to make their transformation complete, while supplies last.

Have these stopped or have we just lost intrest? Either way, if they lost us, they really need help. Maybe they should read the boards and use some of the really good ideas people come up with. Of course, they would have to contact the poster and get permission to use anyones original ideas. Oh, I see, there would be patant issues and royalties and legal type people involved.

They had pretty much stopped at the Fall Trolly Show and became an advertisement for the Glow with the Show ears. A new one was released on Friday for Halloween.

Have a Ghostly Time at The Happy Haunted Horseshoe

October 28 to November 1, 2013

Kick up your boots for Halloween week at Magic Kingdom park where you can find all sorts of spirited fun in Frontierland! From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, head to the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon—re-dressed in the guise of "The Happy Haunted Horseshoe"—and grab a snack or a Halloween-inspired goodie as an ethereal group of entertainers takes a break from pushing up daisies to delight you with their tricks and treats. This is your chance to join hostess Miss Betty Blue as she calls forth haunting harmonies from the Cadaver Dans, the piano-playing Dearly Departed Stan and everyone's favorite morbid magician, Abner Cadaver. Take a Walking Tour at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park

November 4 to November 8, 2013

Go wild on an exclusive backstage tour of Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, courtesy of Limited Time Magic—experience the grounds of the park through the eyes of either a zookeeper or a veterinarian, all while walking about several behind-the-scenes areas! As the tour begins, half of the group will follow Animal Programs to get a glimpse of animal housing while the other half tags along with Animal Health to check out the state-of-the-art animal medical center. If you're lucky enough, you may even see a wild animal in the backstage environment! With only one tour per day, space is extremely limited—be sure to register at the Disney Parks Blog as soon as you can.

Salute Veterans at Magic Kingdom Park

November 11 to November 15, 2013

This Veterans Day, help honor the brave heroes who have defended our country with a special Flag Retreat Ceremony each evening in Town Square, only at Magic Kingdom park! Cheer the proud sounds and patriotic music of the Main Street Philharmonic as well as the Voices of Liberty, all while saluting the special Veteran of the Day flag bearer, and the Honorary Color Guard too. It's a truly wonderful tribute to our nation's heroes, an event that's bigger than a single day… but one that's still only happening for a limited time, courtesy of Limited Time Magic—from November 11 to November 15, 2013.
