Dead shark at Amity at Universal?

Hi all, silly question here! I've just had a sudden bad thought! Does anyone know if the dead shark model that they had hanging upside down in the Amity area is still at Universal? I know they've taken the Jaws ride away, but desperately hoping this is still there! I've had my photo taken everytime I've been for the last 18 years, and want to be able to do the same for my stepson and any future children i may or may not have!

even if it's bad news, let me know and i can prepare myself for August lol

Actually, it was still there for some time after the ride closed and had been boarded up, but I do believe it is gone now.

Actually, we were there the first week of December. As of that week, it was still there. They moved it 'across' the street that it used to be on in Amity. It is now on the lagoon side, next to a restroom and smoking area. It's easy to miss, but just walk along the lagoon near the old Amity section and you'll see it (assuming that they didn't do away with it in the last 2 months). We were thrilled to just happen upon it during our last trip - the picture with is has been an annual tradition of ours as well

Good to know! I think I noticed last time I was there that it wasn't in the original place, but didn't realize they'd moved it.

I love the pics I have of my sons in there. It is a great picture opportunity!

I saw it too but that was back in August. It was still there but it moved by the lagoon.

I just got back yesterday and it's still there!
