Probably safer to err on the side of disturbing. But I hope to keep blending in with the normal people.

Yup. When I'm stuck on menu planning for the week I often peruse menus from my favorite spots for inspiration.

And my favorite part of trip planning is the restaurants!

My wife is less of a WDW fan than I am, so I tempt her to another vacation there by focusing on food. Each trip, I find to find a restaurant we've not tried before.

My wife also takes pictures of food, which can be a little irritating when you're wanting to dig in. I sometimes take pictures myself, but it's for nefarious reasons: I text them to family to torment them with my excellent meal.

I'm right there w/ you!!! I already know most of my orders for my ADRs for my May and Sept trips. And for May, I actually have some of my snacks identified, too. There was a thread I had about WS favs. Based on that, I have this crazy long list of items I must try!!!

(I do this at home, too, just going out to eat)

Right now a few of the things I've got on my radar are: The cream cheese filled pretzels, the all american picnic Burger at DHS, the macaroni and cheese hotdog at AK, Grey Goose slush in France w/pastry... The other TS and buffet menus that I have ADR's for I look at every day.

Am I a lonely food freak when it comes to this
Nope, I find myself perusing the menus even when I don't have a vacation planned. Just can't seem to help myself

My problem is I don't have enough time to try it all. So, I work through as much of my list as I can and then save some of the list for next time.

If all these replies haven't made it clear already, you're in very good company here, lol! My next trip is January 2014 and just this morning I was thinking of what I wanted to eat (and drink!) while there. Hope you enjoy every bite!

Oh my God. My clone! I'm exactly like you! I have been reading menus even though I did not have a trip booked or even before I made a reservation to know where I wa going to eat.

My wide said it best. She eats to live, I live to eat! I'm already thinking about dinner tomorrow night, and breakfast Sunday morning.

Touring plans.com has a e-book for sale that covers the bars/lounges of WDW. Drinks and appetizers. My spouse is happy with it.
