Not sure if this has been discussed or not if so please direct me to discussion TIA!!!

I am booking my vacation for next Sept/Oct 2014. My Question is if the Free DP comes out next summer for the dates that I am going will they apply that to my reservation even if I prepay for my DP will they reimburse my $ when it is available?

Once your vacation is booked, no changes will be made to your reservation unless you call and request the change. So, if you see a better deal come out, you have to call and request it. If you have already paid, the difference will be refunded.

Your absolute BEST BET is to book your vacation through Magical Journeys. When any discounts come out that apply to your travel dates, they will take care of contacting Disney and have them applied to your package. It is a great day when you get an email from your Magical Journey's travel agent informing you of how much they have saved you!

It truly is a wonderful free service. Karen takes care of my family.

If you have Magical Journeys you will get the deal I know I've booked and prepaid a year out twice now and gotten refunds after MJ had them apply a better deal

If you choose to go it on your own, I can say that free dining was added after we booked this year, and it was a matter of a 5 minute phone call to add it to our reservation.

While this is definitely true, it would mean that you would have to personally monitor for the deals and then call right away to make sure it gets applied to your reservation. IMHO, Magical Journeys is the BEST way to go. Even if you like too "Have control" of your reservation, you can still look and see about things to add etc and then jet make one call to them to handle all the back end stuff.

Last time we went we booked with MJ and were incredibly pleased. We were at the beach for vacation and when I checked email there was message that there was a discount we were eligible for and they had already applied it. Refund was credited to our card--all while we were playing in the sand with our kids.

thanks everyone I have used MJ in the past and had a wonderful experience with Karen. Will probably be booking with her again I just have been doing last minute trips the past couple years.
