My daughter (23 y/o) and I enjoyed a fun week together in WDW and thought I'd give a quick review of our meals. I'll rate each one on a 5 point scale.
Olivia's Café (dinner): 3/5 First time at this restaurant. We had very good service, but the food was just okay. Ordered the ribs and I can't remember the other entrée. We shared the bread pudding for dessert and that was very good (similar to 'Ohanas bread pudding). I don't think I would make ADRs here again.
Restaurant Marrakesh (dinner) 3-4/5 Second time eating here, but last time was many years ago. Again we had very good service. The meal was good - I gave it a 3 and my daughter gave the 4. (It's not my favorite type of food, so I'm sure that effected my score.) I had Shish Kabob and my DD had the Chicken Kabobs - both were enjoyed. We didn't see a dessert that interested us, so we passed. The belly dancing performance was quite fun and the lady performing was very talented.
'Ohanas (dinner): 5/5 This is a family favorite, which we never miss. Service and food were excellent as usual.
Mama Melrose (dinner): 4/5 Second time eating here. I had a seafood stew and my DD had a pasta dish (can't remember the exact dish names), and we both found them very good. We did have dessert, both good but not a wow. The service here was so/so, not quite as friendly and we did have to wait longer than most places for drink refills. Not sure if I would eat here again.
Be Our Guest (lunch):5/5 We had a fast pass for this and then went back a few days later and waited in line (we lined up at 10:35 for the 11:00 opening and we were the 3rd group lined up). Love love love the atmosphere and the food. Highly recommend this counter service. We had the French onion soup, Croque Monsieur, carved prime chuck roast beef sandwich, and strawberry cream cheese cupcakes for dessert.
Le Cellier (dinner):5/5 This was our 5th time dining here. We had excellent service and food. I live in Chicago and have great steak restaurants to choose from, but I do believe this in my favorite! I had the mushroom filet mignon and DD had the angus New York strip. Dessert - meyer lemon curd torte (good) and maple crème brulee (excellent).
Tokyo Dining (dinner):3-4/5 First time dining here. We had excellent service and the food was very good, but I wasn't blown away. We didn't order dessert. I would try this place again though.
Earl of Sandwich (lunch):3/5 First time. People have raved about this place, but I found it just okay and no better than a Potbelly's. I had the Holiday Turkey and DD had a club sandwich. Both were fine. Nothing exciting.
Can't wait until I can start making ADRs again!
