Had you posted these photos on Intercot before? Maybe I saw them somewhere else. I know definitely that I've seen the one photo of the boy (I assume it's you) in the funky hat and striped tube socks! Love that '70s fashion!

Ahhh, those bring back good memories. We were they in October, 1971, this was only a few weeks after the MK had first opened. How things have changed through the years. Me especially, LOL.

Brings back memories of our first trips back in the early 70's... Swan Boats, greeting characters in the park without a FP+, etc.

Fantastic photos! I LOVE how the Mansion looks, it's so grand and imposing. The Queue line canopy really takes that away.

Great old pics Kevin - a fellow NJ-er we went down in '73 the first time and again in '75. Yeah, I was rocking those striped tube socks!! I love how the characters are just meandering thru the park. Haven't seen much of the Dumbo character these days. And Donald looks a bit psychotic no?!!  Also the park is so new the extensive landscaping we're so used to today is virtually non-existent. Oooh, loved those trips!!!!
