    Default Disney Visa Dining Discount

So, I used my Disney Visa in the parks last year & saved 10% on souvenir purchases over $50 at some locations, but had to mention the discount to get it.

On this years trip I'm not doing the dining plan & plan on eating at some of the restaurants that offer 10% off to Disney Visa cardholders. Do I have to mention the discount when I use the card or does it just come off.

    Thanks.

Is there a list of the places that give you the discount?

I always ask too! We have several discount options available (DVC, AP's, Disney Visa), so I always list them to the CM's to make sure we can use one.

This must be relatively new. We've had the Disney Visa since day 1 (even says so on my card ) and I don't recall dining discounts as one of the perks until I pulled up the link. Then again we've been on free dining our last two trips, so maybe I wasn't looking for it.

Good to know though as we are contemplating a late fall trip and I'm leaning towards room discount over free dining (if offered) so it will be nice to know that there is an add'l 10% discount out there on some dining.

Wow, I have been a cardholder for a while and did not know about the dining discount!

I didn't know this either! I sure hope I remember this when we are there. I always forget to use our AAA at certain restaurants too.
