    Default Holiday Visits

I am planning our early December 2017 visit with my family (husband and will-be young 3 year old) and wondering which resorts have the best holiday decor and activities. I know about the GF and the famous Gingerbread house...but what else can you tell me?! Thanks!!

There is a gingerbread and chocolate carasoul at the Beach Club. The decorations are great at all the resorts! At Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House they have kids activities scheduled through out the day. I could spend the whole day checking out the decorations!

Pretty much all of the Deluxe Resorts have wonderfully decorated lobbies that are worth seeing, as well as Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge. Those two have some of the nicest lobbies to begin with and holiday decoration make it all the merrier.

Moderate resorts have light holiday decorating, nothing that I'd go out of my way to visit.

I don't know that the values decorate, if they do, like the moderates I would expect only light decorations, and again nothing to go out of your way for.

A little off the beaten path, but a drive thru the Fort Wilderness Campground might yield some pleasant surprises. Campers, especially those there for a long decoration tend to (over) decorate their campsites and campers, can be quite amusing and some are quite unique, to say the least.

My little boy is obsessed with trains, so we made a trip to the Boardwalk area to visit the Dolphin- they have a huge tree with a large train running around it. We then walked over to the Yacht Club and they had a great Christmas train set up, and the decor was great. The Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House had an ornament craft table set up that my kids loved. And the tree there is amazing!
