    Default 1 day ticket

We are going down for a beach vacation but want to visite magic Kingdom for a day. Never purchased just 1 day, or had to deal with this calendar. So question, It appears we are buying ticket for a specific day, can that be changed, say we purchase for a Thursday, but a few days before we go its predicted to rain all day and we want to move it to Wednesday, is that allowed? Or do we wait to purchase the tickets the week of once we have seen the forecast, but then how do we get the tickets without the ability to print? I also read somewhere we have to link all the tickets in the disney app? is that correct?

You may reassign or change the dates of an unexpired, unused ticket.

    - Head to your My Disney Experience app's home screen.
    - Select the three stacked lines at the bottom right. This will take you to your personal page with your name on top.
    - Click on Tickets and Passes.
    - Pick the ticket you wish to modify, and select Change Ticket.
    - Under Valid Ticket Dates you can choose your new date for first use.

Before changing your dates, check the Theme Park Availability Calendar to make sure your desired dates are open. After you've selected your new dates, make a new theme park reservation. Disney uses seasonal type ticket pricing, so there may be a change in your ticket cost.

It is important to note that you must complete this process before the clock strikes midnight the day before your scheduled ticket date.

Also keep in mind that since you need a park reservation - there is no guarantee your park will be available on the new date. Best to check that before cancelling an existing reservation.
