    From what I know
The Character Caravan’s make daily rounds at various resorts they come with cool characters in side them Pluto, Tigger and so on they do meets an greets posing for pic’s ect. It is a cool idea coz you get to see the characters in the morning without having to track them down you will find that the characters are hanging out in most of the lobby’s I would make the most of seeing the characters in the morning I would defiantly try to see them I’m shore you daughter will like them I know I would
    Hope that helps.

A Character Caravan page is the works to be added to the Disney Info section. In the meantime - here is the content that will appear. This will explain everything for you.

    Disney's Character Caravan
Walt Disney World offers a new experience for guests staying at Disney Resorts. The new program, Disney's Character Caravan, features morning visits to the resorts by Disney characters. The characters will greet guests and provide a send-off as guests leave for the Disney theme parks. This experience will offer guests additional opportunities to see the Disney characters - one of the most popular requests by Walt Disney World guests.

The characters vary by resort. There is a minimum of 2 characters per resort. The characters can be any of the following: Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Goofy, Donald, Pluto, Pinocchio, Geppetto, Foulfellow, Gideon, Timon, Rafiki, Baloo, King Louie, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, Alice, White Rabbit, Tweedle Dee, and Tweedle Dum. The characters are generally sent to the resort they theme the best.

Just a note -- you don't have to be there when they arrive -- they are available for autographs the whole time they are there.

Also, the lines for the lesser-known characters are much shorter, which is great! When we went to the caravan at the BW, my kids had no lines whatsoever for Foulfellow, while Pluto and Chip & Dale had lines. We had already seen Pluto and Chip & Dale at Chef Mickey's, so we liked the fact that Foulfellow was available with no line!

When you check into your hotel, you should ask where the characters will be -- some hotels have them in places that are a little different.

The character caravan is a nice way to make the Disney resorts special. If your kid(s) like getting autographs, you should make sure you see the characters in your hotel!!

I think its great to have little wait for the characters but sure wish Early Entry would come back...I'm not sure if I could choose between the characters or EE but I know that both are great services Disney created.
