Well here we are, back at The Swan after our shopping experience at the outlets. Actually, we have been back for a bit but everyone has been at the pool and I had a nap.

Maybe you aleady heard, or not, there was a big power outage at Epcot today. The Orlando Sentinel just reported that breaker was tripped and it shut down some of the major attractions in Future World from 11:30 am till 2:00 (just a couple of minutes ago).

Thankfully, we tackled Epcot last night and did most of the Future World attractions.

We are just getting ready for Cape May Cafe right now and then heading to the MK till 3:00 in the morning.

whew! you lucked out on that one! Could you imagine being stuck laying on your back in Spaceship Earth for 2 1/2 hours LOL

That is so weird that Disney lost power. Disney World is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Florida, so the state of Florida takes care of them. My son was there a few years back with his best friends family and a hurricane moved thru. Yes, the parks closed during it, but the resorts never lost power, even though all the areas around Disney were in the dark. And even when you hear about bad drought conditions down there, Disney is never without water. I feel for the people who were there, as it must have been a fluke thing. And I bet 90% on Florida's power company were there helping them get back on line as quickly as possible!

I'm glad you weren't stuck on a ride and suddenly lost power! Can you imagine being on Soarin' and being in total darkness up there? Scary!
