ME luggage tag ?

We just received our ME luggage tags (), however the resort on them is wrong. We had originally booked POP but switched to All Star Sports. I'm thinking we should just take our luggage with us instead of crossing off the wrong resort and putting the correct one on the tags. What do you think? Thanks in advance

How far away is your trip? If you call DME they may be able to get you new tags. Getting your own luggage is certainly possible, but it takes a lot more time and ruins half the fun of DME.

We are leaving 10/18. I looked at the documents I received and I couldn't find a phone number to call them directly (I'm sure it's right there I'm just not seeing it ). If anyone has the number for me to call that would be great. Thanks again

Just call Disney reservations...you will have them in time for your trip and not take a chance of not having your luggage at all!

You have nothing to worry about. You don't need new tags, provided that your RESERVATION NUMBER didn't change.

You'll see that the DME tag has a barcode on it. The barcode is what is used to route the luggage. The barcode is, basically, the computer equivalent of your reservation number. When the barcode is scanned, it tells them which resort to route the luggage to.

If you wish, you can take a Sharpie marker and cafrefully cross out Pop Century and then write in All Star Sports. However, DO NOT cross out the barcode or otherwise mess with it.

These instructions come from DME CMs ... it's not my guess about what will probably work.
