JPL's Festive Holiday Fun Day 1 Part 3
December 11th
Part 3
MVMCP
After the fireworks I headed towards Frontierland to grab a spot for the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. I also noticed that all 4 Country Bears were out and about entertaining the crowd. As I walked Past the Horseshoe I noticed it was open and they were serving Hot Chocolate and Cookies inside so in I went and got some more. It was great being inside the Diamond Horseshoe again and they had a piano player entertaining the people waiting for Hot Chocolate. After downing my Hot Chocolate and eating some cookies my sugar high kicked in and I was hunting bears I managed to get my picture taken with Wendell, Liver Lips, another bear(who's name is escaping me right now) and my favorite Big Al. It was almost time for the parade to start so I go a great spot near the shooting gallery. I then witnessed one of the funniest things I have ever seen at a Disney Park. They had the ropes up for the parade and they are quite tight in this area of Frontierland and this little girl around 7 or 8 came running full speed calling to her mother in the street. She hit the rope and went flying back while her shoe went flying all the way to the other side of the street. She never lost her balance and seemed more confused as to why she flew backwards than she was injured or shaken. The poor CM who asked if she was alright was trying so hard not to laugh as were all the people who witnessed the event. After collecting her shoe they stood next to me on the porch and watched the parade. I really enjoyed the parade this was my first time seeing this version of the Christmas parade and it was just as good as the older versions I remember. After the Parade I made way over towards the Mansion but the crowds beat me to it so I decided to skip it for now and headed into Fantasyland. There was no ride for Peter Pan so I took to the air over London and off to Neverland. I passed by the Lady Tremaine dance party to take a peek and then head towards Donald's Tree lot since he was out for pictures again. I am standing in the line and it is moving quite slowly as people are taking multiple pictures with different members of their group in them. Well after about 10 minutes the people behind me ask me why the line isn't moving and how many people they let into Donald's Forest at a time. I said oh you don't go through anything it's just to get your picture taken with him and they waited about another 5 minutes and then left It was just about my turn and then I looked over to the left and here came Scrooge McDuck again. I asked the CM if I could get a quick picture with Donald before he left and she smiled and said hey I remember you the same thing happened to you before as I watched Donald leave and got another pciture with Scrooge. After my picture I headed off towards tomorrowland to ride Space Mountain, I wanted to make I got a ride in before the rumoured rehab since it was my first ever Roller Coaster and holds some great Memories for me. On the way I stopped for a quick pciture with Tweedle Dee and Dumb and headed for the mountain. I enjoyed my flight through space and then saw that Stitch was out and there was no line at all so I got in the line and then right after I got there they cut off the line. I got my pciture with the Little Blue guy and then hopped on the Buzz for one last spin of the night. After riding Buzz i headed towards Main Street and took in the atmosphere as I waited for the crowds to thin a little more and finally head out to the Bus stop and back to Pop for the night.

Darnit Donald!
Hey Jeff, I was quite amused at your Donald adventures when you related them to me during our mutual visit to WDW, and reading your reports made me laugh again. That darn duck is tough to get ahold of isn't he?
