Unfortunately, we have not tried Fresh Appeal yet. However, Disney advertises it as "salads made with locally grown produce, natural burgers, and balanced kids meals served with fresh fruit and healthy sides.". Looks like they also offer gluten-free, low-sodium and vegetarian options.

We ate here the first week in March, for breakfast. Maybe not the best for breakfast, but what we had was pretty good. Really nice salsa bar Babycakes shares the space These are some weird cupcakes! They are vegan, we didn't expect that much of a difference in texture, not a hit.

Thanks for the menu information! I've been wondering about this place.

Gotta say, though, those are some mighty UN healthy sounding kid's meals. I mean, honestly, couldn't they offer a kid's sized wrap, or even just more fruit/veggie sides rather than chips?

It's located in building that formerly housed the Ronald's Funhouse location (McDonald's) in the Downtown Disney Marketplace.

The building now houses three locations: Pollo Campero, Fresh-A-Peel, and Babycakes NYC. All three locations share the same register area, so your party can choose items from all three counters in a single purchase.

    Unhappy

We went in there today but did not eat there. The food choices are slim. We did get Babycakes to go and we all thought they were horrible. Didn't know they were vegan. Maybe that explains it!

I've had Babycakes up here at their mother ship location in NYC and don't find them "weird" at all. Different strokes for different foks.

They're also gluten and dairy free, so yeah, they won't taste the same as normal cake.

My son has autism, and many of his classmates at school are on the GFCF diet, and I've gotta say that gluten free cake is just not good.

Pollo Campero & Fresh-A-Peel are listed on the Disney Dining Plan brochure as quick service locations.

It's not published (yet), but Babaycakes NYC is also participating.

    From Tidbits February 2011
    A Sweet Addition

    2/27/11
More sweets have recently been added to the Disney Dining Plan. The BabyCakes NYC location at the Downtown Disney Marketplace has recently joined the Disney Dining Plan. Currently, one snack credit may be redeemed for any one of the bakery items. Additionally, Guests may select one of their bakery items as a counter service dessert when redeeming the rest of the counter service meal at the adjacent Pollo Campero or Fresh-A-Peel locations due to the shared register area.
Since the addition was ~ 2 months after the official publishing for 2011, the Babycakes NYC location may not appear in print till the 2012 brochures.
