Any thoughts on the Sci Fi?

We went for the 1st time on our last trip and really enjoyed our dinner. The kids loved the atmosphere (we did too) and our food was really good.

I'm sorry we waited so long to try it!

Sci-fi gets a bad rap. The food is ok and the drive-in theme is really fun. We went there for our DS2s 4th b-day. He requested it when we went back for my 40th and again when we went for DWs 40th/DS1s 14th. It is a very special place for our family. Hope you find the same. Enjoy!

I would suggest eating a lunch or late lunch to possibly save a few bucks. The atmosphere is definitely well worth it. And I agree with others the food is basic "pub" food for lack of a better term but still found it yummy. But I found the atmosphere to definitely be worth the cost to eat there. The basic burgers, fries, etc is most of the menu so keep that in mind. But I am pretty sure your kid will love it and I am sure you will too. It's definitely worth the try if you haven't done it.

Doesn't the Sci-fi have the same menu and prices now for lunch and dinner? Either way, it is a very fun restaurant and the food has always been better than average! You should give it a try!

We went there for the first time in September '11. I got the steak and LOVED it. We definitely plan on returning. One of my kids got the burger. I tried it and it was also yummy! Another got the chicken sandwich, which I did not try but he said it was OK. This restaurant will be one of the first I book for our trip later this year.
