Water Park Crowds

Can anyone give me an idea of the crowd levels at the Waterparks in late Aug, the last week to be more specific. I know the crowd levels in the parks start to drop off, so I would imagine the WP's would do the same.

I am just wondering how long of lines to expect, is it as hard to find lounge chairs, etc? I know it is still very hot so I am wondering if the waterpark levels may even drop off less at that time due to the heat and humidity.

Water parks can still be a little crowded, actually, more especially on weekends. Locals still like to escape the heat at water parks, too, so it adds to the crowds. Midweek, we've gone mid-morning to find moderate crowds. We have been able to find chairs and the average line was less than twenty minutes but some were up to 45 minutes on occasion (which is a long time to be standing in the sun).

Either go early or a bit later, mid day 11-2 is usually pretty crowded, not terrible though. Weekend are def. more crowded!

Go on a Monday!! Fewer locals, and most folks starting out their vacations don't head to a water park first.
