crowds the last week of February

we are looking at visiting Disney world the last week of Feb. This scares me because it's the week after presidents week. My daughters college has their break the last week, so if we go that's it! Anyone have experience or thoughts about the crowds and lines?

It should be a decent week to visit. It's the week AFTER President's week and right before the Spring Breaks start to come around. We have friends going this week and after doing some analyzing felt like this would be a pretty good week to visit between crowds and possibly decent weather.

If you're talking the week of the 24th, it will be better than the week of the 17th but will still be busy - you can expect at least moderate crowds.

For moderate resorts, my favorites are Coronado Springs (moderate but with features that are found more at the deluxe level) or Port Orleans French Quarter (cozy, small resort with boat service to and from Downtown Disney).

WARNING: find out if there are cheerleader groups there at your resort during that time. We have gone in February a few times and they will ruin the resort for you. Crowding food court, crowding and cutting in front to get on the buses, swearing, screaming at all hours of the night, practicing on the walkways. Just be careful.

omg, good call, we've been there when cheerleaders have been. Not only did something close at MGM to accommodate the competition but the value hotel bus lines were CRAZY! Do you know how to check, can you just ask?
