Insider Tours All Around The World

Backstage Magic:

 (9:00am to 4:00 pm – Monday to Friday – 7 Hours)
Take a peek behind the magic! Discover the Disney secrets you've always wondered about on this fascinating tour that gives you an extraordinary look at the artistic, scientific and technical operations that go into creating the awesome special effects, entertainment and attractions that are the cornerstones of Walt Disney World Resort.

Your behind-the-scenes adventure begins at Epcot and stops backstage at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom Park. From the Disney Florist to the North Service area, you will get a rare glimpse of what it takes to create and maintain the magic every day.

Lunch at Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano is included. This is primarily a walking tour, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Guests must be at least 16 years old and carry government-issued photo identification due to behind-the-scenes access. Theme Park admission is not included or required.

VIP Tour Services
(Daily, 6 hour minimum)
Cost: $175-$315 per hour. Special discount may apply for Resort Guests, during non-holiday periods. Theme park admission is required.

Magic Kingdom

Keys to the Kingdom:
THE first tour at Walt Disney World covers just about every topic you could ask - while you learn about the 'magic' behind the Magic Kingdom! The "Keys to the Kingdom" tour takes Guests in a full circle across the Magic Kingdom with stops for "backstage" experiences and attraction visits. This 4½ - 5-hour walking tour is a fascinating journey, allowing Guests to "unlock" the door to the Magic Kingdom Park’s history, trivia, and backstage secrets. Guests hear intriguing stories of Walt Disney, his visions, his philosophies, and his accomplishments.

Guests must be at least 16 years old to attend this program. Guests are required to have a photo ID in their possession during the program. Large bags and cameras are not permitted. This is an outdoor walking program.

Daily at 8:30, 9:00 & 9:30 a.m.

Disney's "The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains":
Learn about Walt's passion for steam trains, and join the opening crew as they prepare for another day at the Magic Kingdom! This tour also offers the rare opportunity to visit our backstage "roundhouse".
Held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturdays at the Magic Kingdom.
Meet at the park turnstiles at 7:30 a.m.
(2 hours, must be 10+, park admission required)

Disney Family Magic Tour:
Guests can take their families on a 2-hour journey through the Magic Kingdom Park. This one-of-a-kind interactive experience takes guests through the park's theme lands in a search for clues.
Daily - 10 a.m.
$27.00 per person.
(Park admission required.)

Mickey's Magical Milestones:
Travel throughout the Magic Kingdom as you weave your way through an enchanting timeline that chronicles the fascinating history of the world's most famous cartoon mouse. From a doodle on Walt Disney's notepad to the classic Steamboat Willie cartoon through the magical CGI experience of Mickey's PhilharMagic, this tour traces the creation and career of Mickey Mouse.

This tour is most appreciated by ages 10 and above. Please be advised that this is an outdoor walking program. For more information and reservations call (407) WDW-TOUR, (407) 939-8687. For group reservations, call (407) 566-2620.

Around the World at Epcot on a Segway
During the first hour of this tour participants will learn safety rules and also receive a practice session riding the Segway. The second hour is spent touring around World Showcase on the Segway before the park opens.
Location: Epcot's World Showcase
Duration: 2 hours
Daily - 7:45,8:30, 9:00 & 9:30 AM
Cost: $95 per person
Restrictions: Minimum age is 16
(A guardian must sign a waiver for persons 16 or 17)
Maximum weight 250 pounds.

Simply Segway
(Daily 11:30 am - 1 Hour classroom experience)
$30 per person ages 16+ (taxes included)
Experience first hand a Segway Human Transporter. You will be equipped with helmets and have a product overview during this one-hour classroom experience. This is a beginners Segway class and includes some training and indoor riding time. (There will not be any outdoor riding time.)

Guests must be at least 16 years old to participate. Due to Segway design specifications there is a Maximum weight of 250 lbs. per participant. Expectant mothers and Guests with special needs may NOT participate due to safety reasons. Helmets are required and will be provided. Class is limited to 10 participants.

Epcot Seas Aqua Tour:
Learn about and interact with ocean life in The Living Seas. Guests explore backstage facilities, watch a video about the pavilion's creatures and then explore the creature's environment using a Supplied-Air Snorkel system during a 30-minute swim through the main aquarium.

The cost of the tour is $115 per guest, and includes all required gear, refreshments, a T-shirt and a group photo of the experience. Guests must bring a bathing suit to participate and must be 8 years of age or older. No scuba-certificate is required for this tour.

Dolphins In Depth:
A behind-the-scenes chance to learn about the dolphins and their research at the Living Seas in Epcot!
Offered Monday - Friday at 9:45 a.m.
(Includes videotape of the experience, refreshments and a T-shirt, 3 1/2 hours, must be 13+, park admission not required.)

Epcot DiveQuest:
DiveQuest will allow certified scuba divers to live the ultimate diving dream. Imagine a salt-water dive with 203 feet of visibility and over 4000 animals native to the Caribbean swimming with you in every direction. Tropical fish, sharks, stingrays, giant sea turtles, and plenty of coral for you to enjoy is just part of the fun. The other part, is you become part of the show! Your family members and friends can view your dive through any of the 56 giant acrylic windows at The Living Seas!
Daily at 4:30 & 5:30 p.m.
(2 1/2 hours, must be 16+, Park admission not required, proof of current SCUBA 'open water' adult certification required, all diving equipment is provided.)

Undiscovered Future World:
Learn about the history of Epcot. See how each pavilion in Future World celebrates human accomplishment and presents the challenge of the future. Visit a VIP Lounge, get a backstage peek at Cast Services and the IllumiNations.
Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 9:00 a.m.
$49.00 ages 16+
(Park admission required, 4-1/2 hours.)

Behind the Seeds Greenhouse Tour:
You saw a glimpse of the greenhouses at Epcot's 'The Land' on the boat ride, but wouldn't it be neat to go through them on foot and see how they grow their amazing plants?
(10:30 am to 4:00 pm - Daily - 1 Hour)
$14 adult - $10 child
(Park admission required, one hour.)

Animal Kingdom

Backstage Safari:
Backstage Safari
Offered Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 8:30am and 1:00pm.
Experience is approximately 3 hours long. Available to guests aged 16 and up. Park admission required.
Tour meets outside park turnstiles next to Guest Relations window.

(3 hours, must be 16+, Park admission required)

Wild by Design:
Learn the stories behind the making of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This walking tour will provide insight into the design and building of Disney’s newest Theme Park. You’ll get a glimpse into how the Staff cares for the animals and their habitats.
Offered Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 8:30am.
Experience is approximately 3 hours long.
Available to guests aged 14 and up.
Park admission required.
Tour meets outside park turnstiles next to Guest Relations window.


Discovery Wildlife Excursion
Offered to ALL Concierge Guests

Concierge-level Guests can deeper explore the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction at Animal Kingdom in the Wildlife Discovery Excursion. The one hour excursion is led by a safari guide and an animal expert.  Wildlife Discovery Excursion takes Guests off the regular Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction path in a custom-designed vehicle, stopping at special observation and photo areas throughout the 110-acres of forest and savannah.
Tuesday through Saturday - 10AM & 1PM
Advanced reservations are required.
All Guests must be at least 3-years old to participate.
Reservations can be made through the Itinerary Planning Office at your resort.

(Not included in Magic Your Way Packages)
A portion of the proceeds donated to the Disney Wildlife Conservation Fund.

Wilderness Back Trail Adventure

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground
Climb aboard the Segway "x2" personal transporter. This new, two-hour tour is offered twice a day on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. 
Following a training session, guests take the off-road Segways along the backwoods trails through Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. Guests must be 16 years or older to participate. Reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance.

  • There are various discounts available on these tours for American Express cardholders, Annual Passholders, members of the Disney Vacation Club, and Disney Visa Card Members.
