Summer’s in full swing,
the kids are out of school, the graduation parties are over and we
celebrated Father’s Day. It’s hard to believe that June passed us by so
quickly!
What’s blooming where you live? Advnt05 (Atlanta) has Gardenias, Jasmine,
vegetables and Day Lilies, Jeri Lynn (Massachusetts) has Iris, Azaleas and
Rhododendrons, and ldn34 (Pennsylvania) and Tinkerfreak (Maine) both enjoyed
the sweet smell of lilacs coming in through their windows.
Jamie’s Friday parties for June included the Grab a Dozen Donuts as You
Leave the Office Early Party, the Happy Birthday Bret it’s Friday too Party
(in honor of SgtTigger’s birthday), the Fantastic Father’s Day Festival, and
the Start of Summertime Smash Bash. Thank you Jamie, Nigel and Cabana Boys™
for entertaining us each week!
If you could live anywhere, where would it be? redandfuzzy polled
INTERCOTees and got some interesting responses. vizsla chose Honolulu,
Hawaii, RAIDER: “Room Service for the rest of my life at the Sandals
Atlantis resort in the BAHAMAS”, MsMin – a house on the beach near Destin,
aprilisis – Olympic Peninsula on Puget Sound, goofy89 and AvonleaCF – a
penthouse overlooking Central Park, and murphy1 picked Tuscany, Italy or
Santa Barbara. So, where would you choose to live?

Dining Out with MickeysGirl and Nigel
>>
Hello, and welcome to
another yummy edition of Dining Out! Welcome to Morocco. Country of mystery,
of enchantment, and the finest food this side of World Showcase Lagoon! Now,
we know what you're thinking: you want me to eat where? Relax, we tried it,
and we loved it! We can't believe we waited this long to try it out. There's
delicious food, belly dancers, wonderful wines. Did we mention belly
dancers?
Marrakesh is open for lunch and dinner.
Lunch,
served from 12pm until 3:45pm, features several dishes offering couscous.
There's chicken couscous, lamb couscous & vegetable couscous -- can you tell
we love saying couscous? Try it with us: couscous! See? Fun, eh? Lemon
chicken, chicken kabobs, and roast lamb are also available. Prices range
between $14 to $20 per person.
Dinner
is served from 4:00pm until park closing. Most of the lunch items are
available, as well as a Moroccan Feast (soup, rolls, lemon chicken, beef
shish kabob & pastries). Dinner prices go from $17 per person to $27.
Several Moroccan wines are also available, which were really exquisite, as
well as other drinks and desserts. Kids can choose from grilled chicken
breast, hamburgers & vegetable couscous. And let’s not forget the
entertainment. Plenty of music is to be had within a very regal atmosphere.
Excellent service makes for a great experience and then there is always the
belly dancers (Nigel really likes the belly dancers…).
The Disney's Dining
Experience card as well as the Magic Your Way with
Dining
Plan are
accepted at Marrakesh. Though we were able to snag a very unexpected Dining
Reservation on our last trip (just about 30 minutes out), this hidden
treasure isn’t always so open, so Advanced Dining Reservations are
recommended (407-WDW-DINE).
So hop on your magic carpet and head over to Marrakesh, we know you'll be
glad you did! It's an exciting experience that's not to be missed! You might
even catch a glimpse of Aladdin, Jasmine or the Genie on your way to dinner!
Hop on by and enjoy an Arabian Night!
Hey, is that a lamp over there?
<< Conclusion>>
And that wraps it up for this edition of the Insider as well. We’ll be
invading your inbox next month as well, with more great tips, advice and
opportunities to make the most out of your Walt Disney World vacation. ‘Til
then, see you on the discussion boards!
