E-Ride Night For January 2002!
A MAGIC KINGDOM "E-Ride Night" for the month of January is scheduled as
follows: January 3, 9pm - 12midnight.
E-Ride Nights
are an exclusive "private party" in the Magic Kingdom for a limited number
of Walt Disney World Resort Guests.

Rehabs/Refurbs Announced
The Maelstrom (Norway) will be closed for refurbishment February 24 - March
15, 2002. It is scheduled to reopen to guests March 16, 2002. El Rio del
Tiempo (Mexico) will be closed for refurbishment April 7 - April 26, 2002.
It is scheduled to reopen to guests April 27, 2002.

To ring in 2002, Walt Disney World Resort will offer a dazzling display of
entertainment, parades and fireworks -- anchored by the Vacation Kingdom's
ongoing 100 Years of Magic celebration. Pop singer Cyndi Lauper will
headline the entertainment lineup for a high-energy street party at Downtown
Disney Pleasure Island on New Year's Eve.

Resort and the Disneyland Resort today announced an unprecedented program
that allows active U.S. military personnel complimentary admission into

Disney's Portrait In Icing Created For 100 Years Kickoff
Walt Disney World chefs put a creative twist on that old birthday party
expectation of "a face full of icing": They unveiled "an icing full of face"
Wednesday as the world-famous resort officially lit the candles on a
yearlong celebration marking the 100th anniversary of company founder Walt
Disney's birth.
